Notes - made application for entry for a homestead on two different quartersections - both the SW and NW quarter of 9-34-7 W4M. On September 28,1909 he signed a declaration to abandon both of these quarters with theexplanation that "The land is unfit for cultivation". Through theseaffidavits he was granted release from any obligations on these twoquarter sections.
